Construction & Industrial Fork Lift Operator

  • Course Code: C.FORK
  • Description: This course focuses on the forklift operator's responsibilities as defined by the Occupational Health & Safety Act and on safe operating procedures for all-terrain forklifts. The course includes information on forklift functions, proper maintenance and inspections, and safe operating practices. Each student will be required to pass a written test and to schedule a practical evaluation after the in-class theory component has been delivered. The practical evaluation is approximately three hours on the machine. A certification card will be issued upon successful completion of the course.

Mobile Elevated Work Platform -HANDS ON TRAINING

  • Description: This course focuses on the safe operation of both scissor and boom type elevating work platforms. In class instruction reviews the operator's responsibilities under the Occupational Health & Safety Act, proper inspection, maintenance procedures, and safe operating industry best practices.
